Mayor Adams hires ex-NYC Councilman Fernando Cabrera as faith adviser after he apologizes for anti-gay views

After declining for weeks to address Cabrera's anti-LGBTQ views, Adams gave the ex-councilman credit for his apology and said he'll serve as a senior adviser in his newly-formed faith office.
